GGI organizes fresher’s party at Guru Nanak Bhawan.

Anubhav 2017 took off on 16 Sept 2017 with all enthusiasm and vigor. An extraordinary event was organized by the students to welcome the fresher’s. The atmosphere was filled with joy and delight. The evening was filled with dance and drama. Students performed at their best and won the hearts of many presents there. The students organizing a committee of GGI coordinated the entire event.
The function started with the lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest E S. Balkar Singh from IKGPTU, Executive Director S.Gurkirat Singh, Director GGI S.Birinder Singh and all other dignitaries present on the days. Students from India and Abroad enjoyed being a part of the event and were seen busy moving around with their friends and peers.
Dance forms of Manipur and Nepal attracted the audience attention along with Giddha and Bhangra. Folk songs sung by the students made the music lovers go crazy. Mime show and skits were well received by everyone who was present in the audience. Students from Jammu and Kashmir sang cultural songs of their region and enthralled the audience. GGI students have outperformed in all the activities overall and gave a new definition for enjoyment.
Students whose academic performance was par excellence were given awards along with cash prizes. This is practiced to encourage students to perform better in every passing year. Cash awards and mementos were given to the students who have done well in sports and cultural activities too.
The function has come to an end with the kind words shared by Chairman S.Gurcharan Singh and he conveyed a great message to all the students that it is important to learn to balance life and live life by enjoying every moment. He shared the memories of his college days with them and had a hearty laugh. He extended his best wishes and good luck for their career
