Gulzar Group of Institutes’ Inter-Zonal Youth Festival programme of the 2nd day was inaugurated by the Chief Guest S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Hon’ble Minister of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Punjab) and the Guest of Honor S. Gurkirat Singh Kotli (MLA Khanna). Other eminent personalities and dignitaries also congratulated the host institute for its splendid organising ability.
Gurkirat Singh, the Executive Director, GGI delivered the welcome address for the chief guest, guest of honour and all present in the programme. He also motivated the students with his directional words and examples. He also advised the students to utilize every opportunity coming into their student life.
The second day of Inter-Zonal Youth Festival was full of various colourful performances and skits on various informative themes. This very day the students who have come from 17 various colleges, near and far performed total thirteen genres, but Punjabi culture and tradition was the centre of most of the performances.
The events for the second day included Mime, Skit, Giddha, Classical Instrument (P&NP), Classical Vocal Solo, Light Vocal Indian, Elocution, Debate, Poem Recitation, Clay Modeling, Rangoli and On the spot photography.
The main centre of attraction at the 2nd day was the International Folk Dance performed by the International students which highlighted that the International culture too is welcomed and appreciated by the Institute in the same way as its culture is.
